Travel Vaccinations


If you are travelling outside of Ireland, certain destinations require that you are vaccinated beforehand in order to help protect you from serious diseases. When you need to be vaccinated may depend on what diseases are present in the country you plan to travel to as well as your departure date.   • The name of your GP

  • Your medical card number (if applicable)

  • What the medical problem you’re experiencing seems to be

  • How long you have been experiencing symptoms and how severe they are

  • Information on any other medication you may be taking

  • Information on any other long standing medical issues
